Hidden Talent

My grandfather has been a long time stained glass enthusiast. He makes everything from Christmas Tree ornaments to Lamps. Big or Small, he's done it and I've always wanted to try my hand at it. So I did:

(please ignore dirty windows. . .it's rained for days and days and that is the result!)

Who knew I was going to be a natural!? I did 90% of the work all by myself, with minimal help here and there from my grandfather. Our next project? A clock with stained glass panel - it's going to rock! What's your hidden talent?

Technically my very very first thing was a four piece fish, just so I could learn the proper way to cut the glass, and grind etc. etc. This was my first official project though :)

That's just beautiful, Stepanie!

I remember taking a stained glass class as a kid & made an AWESOME trivet. I think my Grandmother still has it.

Hmmmm...my hidden talent...I can spin wool on a Walking Wheel (compliments of all those college summers working at Historical Villages :)
