Oh the wonders of fabric!
I could spend hours in a fabric shop looking at all the colors and patterns. Problem is I can't sew. Not that I haven't tried. Oh I have sat down at that frustrating machine more than once. My lines aren't straight, corners aren't pointed, and whatever is in my head never turns out the same in real life.
Thankfully I can dream it up and my mom can sew it. In exchange I knit and/or crochet whatever she asks for. Because as luck would have it she hates knitting and crocheting but loves the finished products!
I wonder what fun project I'll think up next. . .
. . .have any ideas?!

haha, I'm exactly the same I can't machine sew and my mom is a seamstress. She makes what I "dreamt up".
We have a deep passion for fabric and colorful patterns, too!
If a machine is not working like it should, sometimes it's just the machine... Everyone can sew!
Ohh, I have so many ideas and things that I want to make. I just don't have enough time. I'm making a shirt next to match my skirt. :)
Stephanie, I really think that sewing machines nowadays make it a whole lot easier to sew. I couldn't sew a stitch with my mom's machine but mine does nearly everything by itself!!!
Hope your little boy is well! XO
